Up for sale, a 1980 Fender Stratocaster in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. This vintage USA-made Stratocaster has been upgraded with a trio of Lollar Sixty-Four single coil pickups.

Boasting an ash body and a maple neck capped by a rosewood fingerboard, this Strat dishes out plenty of natural punch, sustain, and throaty cut. The Lollar Sixty-Four single coil pickups are a premium boutique set, wound for “prominent midrange and clear top end with a piano-like attack.” The pickups have flush mounted alnico pole pieces, in-line with spec for 1980, and the middle pickup is RWRP, hum-cancelling in positions 2 and 4 and offering a distinctive silky cut in those "in-between" positions on the five-way switch. Weighing 10lbs 4oz, this Stratocaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss two-tone Sunburst finish has limited buckle worming on the back, faint scuffing along the pick path, and some small dings on the body as a whole. There are also two small touched-up finish chips on the edge at the treble-side waist on top.The ambered gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean, with a bit of palm wear at the fretboard edges, and the guitar smells faintly smokey.
