Up for sale, a 1980 Boss OD-1 Overdrive “Long Dash” effects pedal in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Historically significant for being Boss' first overdrive pedal, this pedal is an early example with black foil label and serial number stamped above the stomp switch in the battery compartment. The circuit is 100% original and untouched, being one of the first OD-1s to have a 4558 op-amp at its heart.
This is a clean example, showing only minimal wear on the bright yellow enclosure, with bold silkscreen graphics and the original pair of knobs. The “Made in Japan” black foil label is near mint on the back, and the serial number is intact inside the battery compartment.
