Up for sale, a 1980 Aria Pro II Tri Sound Series TS-800 in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Crafted at the Matsumoku factory in Japan, this premium Aria Pro II model features five-ply maple/walnut neck-through construction, DiMarzio Dual Sound humbuckers, and active electronics.
The neck-through construction results in ample natural sustain and midrange warmth via the sen ash wings, and this TS-800 weighs 8lbs 4oz. The DiMarzio Dual Sound humbuckers are essentially an expansion on the Super Distortion platform, delivering the rich harmonic content and midrange bump of that iconic pickup, boosted by the TS-800’s versatile active electronics. Controls include independent Dual Sound mini-toggles for each pickup (coil taps), Boost and Phase mini-toggles, and a six-way rotary Boost Selector knob. This TS-800 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
