Up for sale, a 1979 Roland RE-301 Space Echo vintage analog tape delay in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This vintage tape echo adds sound-on-sound recording and Roland’s famous lush chorus effect to the platform of the RE-201 Space Echo. The RE-301 is extremely versatile, delivering a range of indispensable tape-driven delays and looping effects in tandem with Reverb and Chorus.
This unit works flawlessly, designed for use in the USA market with a 100VAC power transformer that runs perfectly at 120VAC. Freshly serviced, this Space Echo features a cleaned and lubricated pinch roller, roller bearing, and capstan. All pots, switches and jacks have been cleaned and exercised, with calibrated trim pots for Intensity.
The faceplate is well-kept, with pristine silkscreen graphics and all of the original aluminum skirted knobs. The chrome latches and hinges show only light surface patina, with just a couple minor marks on the black tolex.
