Up for sale, a 1979 Fender Telecaster Custom in 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Boasting an ash body and a one-piece maple neck, this guitar blends the twang and sparkle of a classic Tele single coil at the bridge with the warmth and clarity of a Seth Lover-designed Fender Wide Range humbucker at the neck. Utilizing CuNiFe magnets to deliver more shimmer and top end detail than most dual coil pickups, the Wide Range pairs very well with the bridge position single coil in terms of output, and the two pickups compliment each other nicely when both are engaged. This Telecaster Custom weighs 9lbs 7oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Natural finish highlights the grain of the ash body, with cosmetic wear limited to pick scuffing on top, some case-related finish wear through the clear coat along the lower bout perimeter, and various dings and scuffs from decades of use. The gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean, and there are a couple shallow marks on the fretboard.

The original Fender-branded molded hardshell case is included.
