Up for sale, a 1979 Fender Mustang in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Featuring the fairly uncommon cosmetic combination of a yellowed Olympic White gloss finish paired with black plastics, this vintage example features an ash body, maple neck, and dark rosewood fretboard.
There's plenty of snap, snarl, and cut available from this Mustang, and the ash body ensures a certain midrange authority and note attack, while the rosewood board tempers high treble frequencies. For chiming traditional single coil bite or the model's classic out-of-phase sound, this guitar is an articulate and clear-sounding Fender that's simply a ton of fun to play.
