Up for sale, a 1978 Greco SA-700WA in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This “Lawsuit Era” Greco was crafted at the Fujigen factory in Japan, evoking an ES-335 with semi-hollow body construction, a full maple centerblock, distinctive rounded “Mickey Mouse" body horns, and a three-piece maple neck capped by a genuine striped ebony fretboard, loaded with a pair of Maxon U-2000 pickups.
Weighing 8lbs 4oz, this guitar is bright and airy with an inherent resonance and natural acoustic tone, qualities faithfully captured by the Maxon U-2000 humbuckers. Boasting Alnico V magnet construction, these pickups are articulate and warm with good top end growl, sustain, and punch, responding well to thick overdrive and delivering an open, dynamic treble response. This SA-700WA has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Walnut finish is remarkably clean, and the binding has only light checking and a couple small chips on the back near the rear strap button. There’s just a bit of pick scuffing across the guard and a few faint finish scratches in the clear coat. The gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
The original hardshell case is included and equally as clean as the guitar.
