Up for sale, 1978 Greco GOW-1500 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Produced at the Fujigen factory concurrently with the Ibanez Musician instruments, this Greco double neck features a quartet of Maxon-made PU-2 humbuckers, Gibraltar-style bridges/tailpieces with brass sustain block inserts, and a wide array of tonal sculpting controls.

This GOW-1500 features maple set-neck construction, with an ash body and bound rosewood fingerboards, weighing 13lbs 6oz. The Maxon-made PU-2 humbuckers are wound firmly in the PAF-style camp, delivering the airy warmth and smooth articulation of that iconic pickup, with focused cut at the bridge and open breadth at the neck, fully capturing the rich chime of the 12-string neck. Additionally, each of the four pickups has an independent “Tri-Sound” mini-toggle, enabling the coils of each humbucker to be configured in series, parallel, or tapped for a remarkably broad range of sounds. This GOW-1500 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Black finish exhibits limited checking in a select few areas, and cosmetic wear includes concentrated buckle rash in two areas on the back (center and bass-side lower bout), pick scuffing on the top, several small nicks along the lower bout perimeter, and one ding on top between the bridges. The smooth gloss on the neck profiles is nigh flawless.
