Up for sale, a 1978 Greco EG600C left-handed model in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. Crafted at the Fujigen factory in Japan, this “lawsuit” era Black Beauty LP delivers the goods, with close adherence to vintage Gibson spec. Gibson would also later commission the same factory to produce their Japan-exclusive "Orville" line of instruments.
Tonewoods include a mahogany body, carved maple top, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard, and this EG600C weighs 8lbs 13oz. The Maxon-made U-1000 humbuckers are wound in the PAF vein, delivering a smooth, detailed sound with plenty of treble bite and growl on tap, tight low end and a slight midrange scoop for optimal clarity when driven hard. This EG600C has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
