Up for sale, a 1978 Burny FLG-70 “Les Paul” in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case and 100% original save for a replacement truss rod cover. This rare Burny was manufactured by Fernandes in Japan during the "lawsuit era" of Japanese production: Burny has long been lauded for producing some of the most faithful, high quality Les Paul-style guitars during the era. This FLG-70 is notable for retaining the gold Les Paul script on the headstock and was produced in the final year before Burny removed the Les Paul branding.
Weighing 10lbs 4oz, tonewoods include a one-piece mahogany body, carved two-piece birdseye maple top, mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fretboard. The original pair of zebra bobbin humbuckers are wound in the vein of the PAF, delivering the spongy lows, smooth trebles, and tailored midrange of Gibson’s iconic humbucker design. This FLG-70 Les Paul has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
