Up for sale, a 1977 Guild F-30R in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Crafted at the Westerly, Rhode Island factory, this vintage USA-made Guild benefits from a professional neck reset and a new carved and compensated bone saddle.
Tonewoods on this orchestra body acoustic include a solid spruce top, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, a mahogany neck, and a bound ebony fingerboard. The body measures 15 1/4“ across the lower bout, with a body depth of 4 1/2“. This F-30R offers great projection and note detail, with a crisp-yet-smooth punch on the plain strings and an open, full bass response. An exceedingly versatile instrument, it’s sympathetic to fingerpicking and delivers plenty of volume when strummed, with a woody chop and relaxed warmth only achievable via a nicely broken in soundboard. This F-30R weighs 5lbs 10oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-53 bronze strings and easy-playing action.
