Up for sale, a 1977 Guild B-301 Fretless bass in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This uncommon Guild bass, only produced from 1977-81, features all-mahogany construction, a contoured body, solitary single coil pickup, and an unlined fretless slab rosewood fingerboard.

The mahogany construction results in fundamental warmth and midrange growl, and these qualities are faithfully captured by the stock single coil pickup. This pickup is punchy and detailed, with a nice balance of low end oomph and treble grind, offering a certain smoothness and percussive thud accentuated by the 48-104 groundwound strings. Weighing 8lbs 10oz, this B-301 Fretless has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with easy-playing action and accurate intonation.
