Up for sale, a 1977 Greco Mirage model M900 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Crafted at the Fujigen factory in Japan, this Mirage is identical in construction to the export (and better-known) Iceman model, offered only to the Japanese domestic market.
Lightweight at 7lbs 1oz, tonewoods include a mahogany body and a maple neck capped by a bound rosewood fingerboard. The Maxon-made PU-1 humbuckers are wound firmly in the PAF vein, delivering a rich bark and treble sweetness in the bridge position, with spongy lows and a musical, dynamic character when toggling towards the neck. This M900 benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
