Up for sale, a 1977 Gibson Les Paul Custom in perfect working order, complete with the original "chainsaw" case. This Les Paul Custom features a gloss Wine Red finish, loaded with the original pair of T-Top humbuckers.

There's plenty of natural cut, punch and ample sustain on tap with this Les Paul, and tonewoods include a three-piece carved maple top, mahogany body and maple neck capped with a bound ebony fingerboard, weighing 10lbs 10oz. All three pickup positions are distinct and full-sounding; the T-Top humbuckers deliver growl and taut low end in the bridge position, while the neck pickup has ample oomph and a thick, cutting quality. This Les Paul has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

The gloss Wine Red finish exhibits buckle rash on the back, scuffing along the pick path, and some dings and finish scratches on the body as a whole consistent with use. The finish on the neck profile has been stripped, exposing the bare maple offering a very smooth satin feel.

The original “chainsaw” molded hardshell case with blue plush interior is included; two of the three original latches are functional.
