Up for sale, a 1977 Gibson Les Paul Custom “Blonde Beauty” in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a Lifton-style hardshell case. A visually striking iteration of the Custom only originally offered from 1976-78 in small quantities, this model is lovingly referred to as the Blonde Beauty.

The tonewood complement includes a three-piece carved maple top, non-sandwich mahogany body, three-piece maple neck, and bound maple fretboard. Weighing 10lbs 3oz with plenty of natural punch and sustain, the maple neck and fretboard increase the treble detail and aggressive cut of the instrument, qualities which translate faithfully through the original T-Top humbucker pair. All three pickup positions are distinct and full-sounding, with more snap and taut low end from the bridge pickup, while the neck pickup has ample oomph and thick roar. This Blonde Beauty Les Paul Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
