Up for sale, a 1977 Fender Deluxe Reverb with a 100% original circuit, complete with the original two-button footswitch. This amp excels at delivering sparkling, detailed cleans with great headroom, and the lush reverb accentuates the chiming, smooth treble response. Both channels sound distinct and strong, and turning things up past 5 on the Volume dial introduces glassy overdriven textures and a touch of compression. It's everything you could want from a vintage Fender amp.
The circuit is untouched, with Schumacher transformers that date to 1977. The preamp retains all of the original blue molded signal caps, and the power supply caps are original as well. The CTS pots date to mid '77, and the amp is the last vintage iteration of the Deluxe with a push/pull gain boost on the Vibrato Channel Volume control. The original Oxford 12L6 12" speaker has a black frame, blue foil Fender label on the ceramic magnet, and dated sticker from the 9th week of '77. The speaker has also been freshly reconed. The tube chart is mostly intact inside the cabinet. The tube set features mostly vintage valves, with a pair of USA-made 6V6 power tubes, a Sylvania 5U4 rectifier, and preamp tubes branded Fender and General Electric.
The original smooth black tolex is intact, along with the silver sparkle grillcloth with pale orange stripe. The faceplate retains clean turquoise text and full complement of witch hat knobs. All of the stock hardware is present, and the raised Fender logo has been painted gold. There's also some remnants of dark blue paint on the edges of the enclosure.
The original two-button footswitch is included.
