Up for sale, a 1977 Burny FLG-70 “Les Paul” Standard in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This rare Burny was manufactured by Fernandes in Japan during the "lawsuit era" of Japanese production: Burny has long been lauded for producing some of the most faithful, high quality Les Paul-style guitars during the era, and this FLG-70 is notable for retaining the gold Les Paul script on the headstock, produced shortly before Burny removed the branding.

Tonewoods include a one-piece mahogany body, carved two-piece maple top, mahogany neck, and rosewood fretboard, and this FLG-70 weighs 10lbs 9oz. The original pair of zebra bobbin humbuckers are wound in the vein of the PAF, delivering the spongy lows, smooth trebles, and  tailored midrange of Gibson’s iconic humbucker design. This FLG-70 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss “Brown Sunburst” exhibits light buckle rash central to the back, a couple small scuffs and dings along the lower bout perimeter, and a scant few additional faint marks on the body as a whole. The smooth gloss on the neck profile is flawless save for one tiny nick central to the carve behind fret 9, virtually undetectable to the palm.
