Up for sale, a 1976 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Pairing a three-piece maple neck, sandwich mahogany body, and a maple top finished in gloss Goldtop nitro lacquer, this Les Paul has been outfitted with a pair of vintage P-90s (maker unknown) and benefits from a professional refret.

Weighing 10lbs 7oz, this guitar dishes out plenty of sustain and a strong bark when strummed acoustically. The P-90 single coils take full advantage of the time-tested tonewood combination, articulating the attack of maple as well as the warm, thick growl of mahogany. These pickups deliver plenty of midrange bark, with a glassy, percussive quality and broad low end rumble. This Les Paul Deluxe has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Goldtop nitro lacquer finish is dark and rich, exhibiting tight “shattered glass” checking. There’s an area of buckle rash across north of the control cavity cover, some greening/oxidation where the forearm crosses the top, and various minor marks consistent with use. The nitro gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean.

A circa 1980s vintage Gibson-branded (1st gen Lifton-style reissue) hardshell case is included, and the handle is a modern replacement.
