Up for sale, a 1976 Gibson ES-175D in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This ES-175 is loaded with its patent number T Top humbucker pair, delivering a detailed and dynamic range of tones. The fully hollow maple body gives the guitar both the immediate attack and clarity of maple, with an airy quality and smoothness befitting the hollowbody construction. Authoritative and clear with a sweet-sounding bridge pickup and notable bell-like clarity at the neck, this ES-175 really sings through a vintage tube amp. This ES-175 weighs 7lbs 4oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

Extremely well kept, this gloss Natural nitro lacquer is 100% original, and there are a few tiny, cleanly doweled mounting holes for a non-original (and since removed) jack plate. The gloss shows some subtle ambering of the clear coat, with light spiderweb lacquer checking on top and sparser checking on the back. Cosmetic wear is limited to small dings (largely adjacent to the tailpiece) and light finish scratches. The neck profile is clean and smooth with a touch of palm wear central to the carve.
The original black tolex hardshell case is included.
