Up for sale, a 1976 Fender Stratocaster Hardtail in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. An uncommon iteration with string-through body construction, this vintage Strat delivers a unique resonance and punch with an array of traditional ‘70s Strat tones.
Weighing 8lbs 14oz, tonewoods include an ash body and a one-piece maple neck. Acoustically, the guitar has great percussive cut, with the midrange detail of ash and a glassy snap from the maple neck. The trio of flat-pole gray bobbin single coil pickups excel at delivering a sparkling range of tonalities. The bridge pickup offers bite and upper midrange presence, the middle pickup has a certain honk and percussive clarity, and the neck single coil has a smooth, yet detailed tone that's ideal for solos and lead work. This Stratocaster Hardtail has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
