Up for sale, a 1976 Fender Jazz Bass in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. A quintessential ‘70s example, tonewoods include an ash body, bound maple neck with pearl block inlay, and maple fingerboard, weighing 10lbs 15oz.
The gray bobbin pickups deliver a round, articulate sound with plenty of treble grind and burp, accentuated by a fresh set of 45-100 roundwound strings. The bass has ample growl, presence and midrange aggression with the bridge pickup favored, offering a more woody, round sound via the neck pickup, and thicker thump with the Tone control rolled back. This Jazz Bass has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with easy-playing action and accurate intonation.
