Up for sale, a 1975 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. 100% original save for a professional refret, this Les Paul Deluxe features a sandwich mahogany body, carved three-piece maple cap with prominent figuring on the bass-side third, and a three-piece maple neck capped with a rosewood fingerboard.
Tonally, the original mini humbuckers in this Les Paul deliver a round sound with great definition and punch. A perfect blend of humbucker and single coil tonalities, the mini hum's tonal properties are enhanced by the maple/mahogany body construction with both wooly bark and great treble cut. The top end snaps and sparkles, while the bass register stays tight and focused. There is no buckle rash on the back, and the original chrome-plated hardware and plastics are notably clean. There is prominent curly flame figuring on the bass-side third of the carved maple top, and cosmetic wear is limited to a few minor dings and scuffs from careful use, largely concentrated along the back body edge. The gloss on the maple neck is nigh flawless.
The original black tolex hardshell case with purple plush interior is included. The case features a clean Gibson silkscreen on the lid, functional latches and the original handle.
