Up for sale, a 1975 Gibson ES-335 TDC in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. 100% original with the exception of a set of Grover tuners and a stoptail conversion, this ES-335 features a bold Cherry nitro lacquer gloss finish, loaded with the stock pair of T Top humbuckers.
Weighing 8lbs 3oz, this ES-335 TDC has a big, barking, and bold acoustic quality, balancing the immediacy and snap of maple and the tonal breadth of the semi-hollow construction. The T Top pickups are a perfect complement to the 335's construction and tonewoods: the bridge pickup is clear, defined, and plenty warm, and with both pickups engaged it's easy to dial in an ideal rhythm tone that has percussive cut and roundness. With the neck pickup singled out, things fatten up nicely while retaining sweet treble articulation.
