Up for sale, a 1975 Fender Twin Reverb, freshly serviced and in perfect working order, loaded with the original JBL D120F speaker pair. A factory upgrade option, the JBL D120F speakers have distinctive orange frames, offering great efficiency and tons of headroom for huge, bold clean tones ideal for guitar, pedal steel or a Rhodes piano. A Master Volume-equipped Twin, the amp can be dialed back to match the needs of the particular venue, able to coax a bit of grit and drive out of the otherwise pristine-sounding circuit.

The circuit has been freshly serviced by our techs here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, retaining all of the original Schumacher-made transformers, dating to 1975. The preamp retains its blue molded signal caps, with all of the resistors replaced with metal film equivalents. The smaller electrolytic caps in the preamp and larger power supply caps have also been replaced with modern parts, all with the aim of providing the best possible noise floor and a reliable, gig- and studio-worthy platform. The original CTS pots have visible date codes from the 24th week of '75. The tube set comprises a quartet of properly biased JJ 6L6 power tubes, with modern valves in the preamp save for a vintage Phillips 12AT7 phase inverter.

Inside the cabinet, the original tube chart is intact, and the pair of JBL D120F 12" speakers have clean orange frames and viable cones. The smooth black tolex shows moderate wear on the edges of the cab, and the silver sparkle grillcloth with turquoise stripe has been remounted to the original grill frame. The stock hardware is all accounted for, including the factory-mounted casters available on JBL-equipped Twins. The polished aluminum faceplate retains its turquoise text and full complement of witch hat knobs.

A modern two-button footswitch is included.
