Up for sale, a 1975 Fender Deluxe Reverb in exceptional, collector-grade condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original footswitch. This vintage Silverface-era Deluxe excels at delivering sparkling, detailed cleans with great headroom, and the lush reverb accentuates the chiming, smooth treble response. Both channels sound distinct and strong, and turning things up past 5 on the Volume dial introduces glassy overdriven textures and a touch of compression. It's everything you could want from a vintage Fender amp.The circuit is extremely original and the preamp is untouched save for a new bias cap and a few smaller high-quality Sprague electrolytics. The original Schumacher transformers date between late '73 and mid-1974, and visible date codes on the CTS pots date to the 30th week of '74. The preamp retains all of the original brown molded signal caps, and the power supply has been professionally recapped with F&Ts. The tubes include a complete fresh set of matched JJs with a 5U4 rectifier, 6V6 power tube set, and a host of 12AX7s and 12AT7s in the preamp. The original Utah 12" speaker has a clean black frame, orange foil Fender label on the ceramic magnet, and date stamp on the edge of the frame from the 5th week of '75. The tube chart is intact on the inside of the cabinet.Cosmetically, this amp is exceedingly clean as the photos can attest, with original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth with pale orange stripe. The faceplate positively gleams with its near mint turquoise text and full complement of witch hat knobs. All of the stock hardware is present including the handle caps, chassis straps, logo, and sphinx glides (feet). The original two-button footswitch is included.
