Up for sale, a 1974 Rickenbacker 4001 in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Featuring neck through maple body construction, this Rickenbacker offers distinctive midrange-forward growl and broad thump via the Hi-Gain pickup pair. The 4001 weighs 9lbs 4oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action and accurate intonation.

-Frets: Slender, leveled and crowned, faint wear beneath A and D strings on frets 2-5

-Headstock: Maple wings, lucite truss rod cover
-Tuners: Replacement Grover open-gear tuners, (original Grover-made "box" tuners present in case)

The gloss Fireglo finish is 100% original with no touch-up or overspray, with a sliver of pick wear down to the bare maple beyond the bass-side pickguard edge. There is buckle rash on the upper bout of the back, a few small chips along the lower bout perimeter, and some small dings and finish scratches on the body as a whole.

The original black tolex hardshell case is included, along with the original tuners and bridge saddles
