Up for sale, a 1974 Martin D-18 in excellent condition, freshly serviced and complete with the original hardshell case. This Martin benefits from work due its vintage including a professional neck reset, carved and compensated bone saddle and corresponding nut, and a replacement pickguard.
This D-18 is lively and detailed, with great string-to-string balance across strings and up the fingerboard. Offering ample projection and woody warmth, this D-18 is responsive to picking dynamics with a crisp, punchy midrange-centric response. The trebles have a sweet chime, and the lows have a rich growl when digging in. Weighing 4lbs 4oz, this D-18 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-53 bronze strings and easy-playing action.

-Wood: Mahogany
