Up for sale, a 1974 Greco EG-650B in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This early Greco Black Beauty was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the “lawsuit” era of Japanese guitar production, featuring a pair of Maxon U-1000 humbuckers with Greco-embossed covers.

In a year when most Greco production was still bolt-on, this top tiered set-neck Greco has a mahogany body, maple top, maple neck, and bound ebony fingerboard, weighing 9lbs. The pair of Maxon-made U-1000 humbuckers are both hot and detailed, with warm, spongey lows, smooth treble growl, and a tailored midrange. This EG-650B has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

Neck Specs:

-Wood: Maple
-Shape: ‘50s-style chunky C, measuring .890” 1st fret, .980” 12th fret
