Up for sale, a 1974 Fender Stratocaster (hardtail conversion) in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with its original hardshell case. Originally a hardtail model, the body has been cleanly routed for a traditional Fender tremolo system.
Weighing 7lbs 12oz, tonewoods include an alder body and a lightly figured maple neck. One of the last of the '70s to retain staggered alnico magnets on the gray bobbin pickup set, this Strat is clear and snappy, offering a round, authoritative midrange and bold low end. The gloss finish on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
The original black tolex hardshell case is included. The case features functional latches, the original handle, clean black leather ends and a raised Fender logo on the lid.
