Up for sale, a 1973 Fender Competition Mustang in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. 100% original save for a replacement nut, this Mustang is bold and snappy-sounding. The single coils offer plenty of jangle and sparkling cut, with a bold, round sound in the neck position and more aggressive growl at the bridge. Engaging the on/off/on pickup switches in their outermost or innermost settings delivers the Mustang's spanky out-of-phase setting. Weighing 7lbs 10oz, this Competition Mustang has been professionally set up here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
