Out Of Stock
Up for sale, a 1972 Fender Telecaster in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. With a 1950s-centric tonewood complement of a one-piece maple neck and ash body, this Tele yields a certain natural midrange detail and treble cut. The original pair of single coil pickups deliver quintessential Tele snap and sparkle at each position on the three-way pickup selector switch: the staggered alnico pole pieces and brass baseplate on the bridge pickup ensure plenty of chewy twang and authoritative snap, while the neck pickup has a smooth percussive cut and bell-like clarity. This Telecaster weighs 8lbs 7oz, benefitting from a  professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The Olympic White gloss finish exhibits light, uniform yellowing of the clear coat, and cosmetic wear is limited to faint buckle rash central to the back and a handful of minor nicks on the body as a whole, largely relegated to the perimeter, including one small chip at the cutaway and one at the bass-side lower bout. The neck profile retains its smooth gloss.

A modern Fender black tolex hardshell case is included.
