1972 Fender Telecaster Vintage Guitar Blonde, 100% Original w/ Case

+ shipping

Up for sale, a 1972 Fender Telecaster in collector-grade, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. With a 1950s-centric tonewood complement of an ash body and a lightly figured one-piece maple neck with a U-shaped profile carve, this Tele yields a certain natural midrange detail and treble cut. The original pair of single coil pickups deliver quintessential Tele snap and sparkle at each position on the three-way pickup selector switch: the staggered alnico pole pieces and brass baseplate on the bridge pickup ensure plenty of chewy twang and authoritative snap, while the neck pickup has a smooth percussive cut and bell-like clarity. This Telecaster weighs 8lbs 3oz, benefitting from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The Blonde gloss finish exhibits uniform yellowing of the clear coat, with the grain of the ash body subtly peeking through. The guitar is exceedingly well-kept, with just a few minor scuffs and tiny marks from light, careful use, plus a bit of subtle pick wear on the treble-side of the pickguard. The gloss finish on the neck profile highlights subtle curly flame figuring extending the profile length.

The original black tolex hardshell case is included. The case features original functional latches and the stock handle, with a raised Fender logo on the lid.
