Fully serviced, this Space Echo benefits from a freshly rebuilt motor, cleaned heads and lubricated bearings, and properly adjusted intensity and level trim pots.
One of the most popular and enduring tape echos of all time, the RE-201 has been used on countless stages and in studios worldwide. All tape heads were cleaned and everything runs exactly as it should with a low noise floor and lush, detailed repeats.
All of the original hardware is intact, and the faceplate is extremely clean. All of the original knobs are intact with aluminum skirts. The latches and hinges have bright chrome plating, and there's wear through the black tolex on the back edges of the enclosure. This Space Echo is a studio-worthy, fully functional example.
