1970s Roland Space Echo RE-101 Vintage Analog Tape Delay, Serviced 117V, Japan

Up for sale, a 1970's Roland RE-101 Space Echo in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. This particular Space Echo is a model with transformer taps designed for USA 117V power. Freshly serviced by our techs here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, it works flawlessly and runs reliably.

The little brother of the RE-201, the 101 has the same lush echo functions as the 201, with a couple of additional modes only available on the 101 platform. Omitting the Reverb effect of the RE-201, the RE-101 otherwise boasts the same functionality, response, and control parameters. All tape heads were cleaned and everything runs exactly as it should with a low noise floor and lush, detailed repeats. All of the hardware is intact, and the hinges and latches have plenty of shine. The faceplate is near mint, with bold silkscreened graphics and all of the original knobs which show some light patina on a few of their aluminum skirts. The black tolex on the exterior is extremely clean.
