Up for sale, a 1970s Roland Jet Phaser AP-7 vintage effects pedal in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. Produced from 1975-78, the Jet Phaser combines a lush, juicy Phaser circuit with a “Jet” circuit, a wholly unique Roland creation that delivers screaming, distortion-laden pulsating fuzz.
There are a total of 6 different modes, selected by the rotary Mode switch, with 4 unique Jet settings and 2 cleaned-up Phase settings. The Phase portion of the pedal is an eight-stage FET-based phaser, no small feat for the ‘70s, cycled with a Resonance control. There is a Jet Level control for the four Jet modes, controlling both the intensity of the effect and overall volume, and a Slow Rate knob for adjusting speed. The Jet Phaser can accomplish the wooshes of a flanger too, and the Fast/Slow switch is akin to a Leslie or Univibe, ramping up and down the speed of the effect.
This pedal is in great shape, only showing very light wear on the aluminum skirted knobs and edges of the ruggedly-built enclosure.
