This vintage tape echo adds sound-on-sound recording and Roland’s famous lush chorus effect to the platform of the RE-201 Space Echo. The RE-301 is extremely versatile, delivering a range of indispensable tape-driven delays and looping effects in tandem with Reverb and Chorus.
This unit functions as intended with a low noise floor, designed for use in the USA market with a 117v power transformer. All of the hardware is intact, and the faceplate is well-kept with clean silkscreen graphics on the brushed aluminum, exhibiting just a few minor scratches and dings. All of the original aluminum skirted knobs are intact too. There's modest wear on the black tolex on the enclosure edges, and the serial/model badge is intact on the back. This Space Echo is a studio-worthy, fully functional example.
