1970s Multivox Big Jam SE-8 Distortion Vintage Effects Pedal, Firstman Japan

Up for sale, a 1970s Multivox Big Jam SE-8 Distortion effects pedal in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. Produced by Firstman Japan from 1978-1979 and distributed by Multivox, the Big Jam SE-8 Distortion is a rare pedal, seldom seen outside its country of origin. The pedal has a unique quality to its saturation, with a nice blend of cutting fizz and woolly harmonic content. The Tone slider offers a wide range of sonic textures, and the Drive and Level sliders provide a slew of gainstage variations.The pedal is stylistically unique in its own right, with a “soft” switch, red/green indicator light, slider controls, and battery compartment at the back. Cosmetically, this pedal is quite clean with wae limited to some tiny specs in the bright red finish. The graphics and raised metallic Big Jam logo are well preserved, and the slider tips, rubber switch cover, and foil label are intact.
