Up for sale, a 1970s Maxon FP-777 Flying Pan in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This Maxon pedal was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, identical to the Ibanez FP-777 in everything but branding (Maxon was the OEM pedal manufacturer for Ibanez in the ‘70s). A very unique, versatile effect, the FP-777 offers a particularly lush and trippy blend of tremolo, phaser, and stereo pan effects within one unit, yielding rich, atmospheric sounds with independent footswitches for Phase and Pan. Controls include Phase Speed, Feedback Depth, and Pan Speed knobs, with a three-way Phase Select rotary control to select Left/Stereo/Right functionality. Naturally, the FP-777 also boasts stereo outputs.
The enclosure has clean graphics and original knobs, with wear largely on the bottom, which retains three of the original rubber feet and the stock battery door. The original inked serial is present on the bottom, along with some additional Japanese lettering.
