Up for sale, a 1970s Guyatone PS-103 Driving Box Compressor pedal in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original box. Produced in Japan in the mid-’70s, this analog compressor offers responsive, smooth compression. The simple Output and Sensitivity controls belie a wide array of adjustable compression. Similar to script or early block-era Dyna Comp pedals, the circuit features a metal can CA3080 IC chip, delivering a low noise floor and also functioning decently well as a limiter depending on user inputs.
This particular Driving Box Compressor is in fantastic shape, with only a couple tiny marks on the robust housing and retaining the stock knobs. The original box is included.
