Up for sale, a 1970s Guyatone Mine Custom LG-780 in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This very rare, finely crafted Guyatone features a distinctive combination of SG-style aesthetics and Strat-style electronics.
The tonewood complement includes a sandwich maple body, maple neck, and ebony fingerboard, and at 10lbs 1oz, this LG-780 dishes out plenty of natural note attack, treble cut and rich sustain. The trio of alnico magnet single coil pickups deliver sparkle and snap, with bouncy twang at the bridge and fuller chop at the neck. The middle pickup can be engaged via the three-way mini-toggle for Strat-style quack and Neck + Bridge tones. This Guyatone Mine Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
