Up for sale, a 1970s Evans Super Echo EE-6 tape echo in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. Produced in Tokyo, Japan, this rare analog tape delay was Evans’ top-of-the-line offering, virtually unseen outside of its country of origin. The EE-6 delivers lush analog tape echo with simple, user-friendly controls that lend themselves to experimentation. This Super Echo EE-6 has been freshly serviced and calibrated by our techs here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, running reliably on 117v power.

Featuring a sliding record head for smooth time adjustments (similar to an Echoplex), the EE-6 can produce everything from slapback to lush, atmospheric textures. The EE-6's five inputs have individually tailored dB pads for Instrument, Mic, and PA use. Controls include Echo Repeat, Echo Volume, and Echo Tone knobs, with a Mic Input Volume knob for the two -44dB Mic Inputs. There are also two outputs, one of which outputs exclusively the wet signal. The unit has been converted to 117v operation for use in the USA, and the original two-prong power cable is still intact.

This unit is in fantastic shape, with clean graphics, pristine black tolex end caps, and a translucent plexi cover to view the tape loop.
