Up for sale, a circa 1970s Daniel Lesueur concert classical No. 4 in excellent condition, complete with a hardshell case. A famed French luthier, Lusueur started his apprenticeship at age 39. Under the tutelage of Daniel Friedrich, Lusueur produced his first guitar in 1978. His instruments quickly developed a reputation among professional players, and he would go on to see significant success, winning multiple national and international guitar crafting competitions and eventually receiving the coveted "Meilleur ouvrier de France" (Best Artisan of France) recognition in the 1980s.
Weighing 4lbs, tonewoods include a cedar top and Brazilian rosewood back and sides, with a mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard. Tonally, this Lesueur retains his characteristic and expected dynamic range, with a colorful and big-bodied sound. The Friederich-inspired 6-fan bracing creates an incredibly balanced, stiff, yet responsive soundboard. This provides a characteristically rich, "piano-like" voice with deep basses, projecting mids, and velvety trebles.
