Up for sale, a 1968 Gibson ES-330 TDC in collector-grade condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original Lifton case and hangtag. This uncommon iteration of the ES-330 platform boasts the 19th fret neck joint only seen from 1968-71 when production totals were quite small, enabling easier access to the higher registers of the fretboard (akin to an ES-335).
The fully hollow thinline maple body has a bright, clear natural acoustic quality with a sweet percussive bark. The P-90s offer glassy top end, highly responsive to player inputs, with a rich, textured midrange growl and a bold, broad low end. String-to-string detail is excellent, and each position on the three-way pickup selector is distinct. Featherweight at 6lbs 4oz, this ES-330 TDC has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
