Up for sale, a 1967 Gibson Melody Maker in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, finished in Pelham Blue and complete with a chipboard case. With solid mahogany construction, this Melody Maker is resonant and lively when strummed acoustically, providing an ideal sonic platform for the pickup. This single coil bridge pickup combines a Fender-esque snap and twang with the fuller midrange and low end punch that mahogany provides, yielding a raw, bell-like sound and tonal profile all its own. This Melody Maker is featherweight at 5lbs 11oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-52 strings, low action, and optimal intonation.
