Up for sale, a Park 45 in excellent condition and in perfect working order, freshly serviced and ready for stage and studio use. A rare cosmetic variant of Marshall's JTM45, and not to be confused with current reissues, this genuine vintage Park is a 30 watt circuit, driving a pair of matched KT66 power tubes. A two-channel four-input affair, the Park 45 is essentially Jim Marshall's duplicate of Fender’s 5F6A tweed Bassman, with its distinctly British transformers, tube complement and component choices providing its unique "Marshall" sonic signature. The amp yields plenty of volume and punch, with exquisite, touch-sensitive cleans and a rich, barking quality at higher volumes, really shining when jumpering the two channels for cascading gain and fine-tuned overdriven textures.

The Park branding was established as a workaround for Marshall's exclusive distribution deal with Rose Morris in 1966, providing a path for Jim Marshall's friend, Johnny Jones (of the Jones and Crossland music store) to continue selling Marshall product under a different name.

The circuit has been freshly serviced by Bryan Sours (Soursound), retaining the stock Drake transformers, notably including the Drake 1202-118 "laydown" style power transformer typically seen in a JTM50, offering a bit more clean headroom and firmness. The turret board preamp features original Mullard mustard caps with date codes from the 4th quarter of '66, and the original pots are intact as well. The power supply has been recapped, with new smaller electrolytics in the preamp.

The black plexi control plate shows only light surface wear with no cracks, and the back plate is even cleaner. The original silver-capped barrel knobs are present, and the amp comes with a custom modern power cable fitted to the cylindrical "Mains" jack.
