Up for sale, a 1966 Mosrite Ventures Model bass in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. A genuine vintage USA-made example, this bass was crafted in Bakersfield, CA,

Tonewoods include a basswood body, maple neck, and bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard, and this bass has a 30 1/2" scale length. Strung with 50-105 roundwound strings, the bass delivers bold bark and growl, with thick low end thump with the Tone knob rolled back to taste. This Mosrite weighs 9lbs 2oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with easy-playing action and accurate intonation.

The body sports a distinctive German carve, and the original Pearl White gloss finish exhibits some concentrated small dings on the bass side of the strum path that the body’s waist. Wear is more restrained on the back and body perimeter, with just a few small dings and minor marks, along with light finish checking at the edges of the neck pocket. The gloss is very smooth on the neck profile, with a number of shallow marks that don’t distract the palm while fretting.

The original hardshell case with faux alligator tolex and red plush interior is included.
