Up for sale, a 1966 Harmony Rocket H56 (Silvertone 1439) in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original chipboard case. This Rocket was produced for Sears' Silvertone brand under the 1439 model number, and one of the nicer variations of the Rocket platform, featuring a chrome Bigsby-esque vibrato tailpiece and a pair of DeArmond gold foil pickups.
Crafted entirely from maple, featuring fully hollow body construction and featherweight at 6lbs 7oz, this Rocket has a resonant and crisp acoustic tone. The pair of DeArmond gold foil pickups have a percussive treble cut and chirp, focused bass, and a harmonically-rich midrange that sounds great when each pickup is singled out or when paired together. This Rocket has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

-Wood: Maple
-Shape: Substantial U, full shoulders, measuring .915” 1st fret, .1.050” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Dyed maple, 12” radius, dot inlays
-Frets: Slender, virtually no wear
-Scale Length: 24 1/4”
-Nut: 1 3/4”, nylon (original)
-Tuners: Open-gear
Body Specs:
-Wood: Maple
-Pickups: DeArmond Gold Foil x2, matching “Nov. 7 1966” and “Mfg’d by Rowe Ind.” stamps on baseplates

The gloss Sunburst finish highlights subtle curly figuring in the maple on the back, and there is one repaired split in the treble-side rim, cleanly repaired and extending from both sides of the input jack. Cosmetic wear is limited to a few light finish scratches on the back, and a few additional minor marks, largely relegated to the back and rims. The neck profile is extremely clean.
The original chipboard case is included.
