Up for sale, a 1966 Gibson ES-335 TD in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Featuring a thinline semi-hollow maple body, one-piece Honduran mahogany neck and Brazilian rosewood fretboard, this ES-335 TD delivers great acoustic cut and bark when strummed acoustically, channeled through the pair of Patent Sticker/T Top humbuckers.

With a Patent Sticker in the neck position and an early T Top at the bridge, the guitar offers a chiming, dynamic treble snap, midrange-rich growl, and low end that is fat yet clear. The bridge pickup has great clarity and power, highlighting the treble cut of maple as a tonewood, while the broad, airy sound of the neck pickup is further thickened by the warmth and smooth attack of the semi-hollowbody construction. This ES-335 TD weighs 8lbs 4oz, benefitting from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Ice Tea Sunburst nitro lacquer finish is 100% original with no touchup or overspray, exhibiting subtle lacquer checking. There’s an area of minor light buckle worming central to the back, with some minor dings and scuffs, largely on the back and rims. The smooth nitro gloss on the neck carve has some shallow marks along its length and light palm wear through the gloss on the shoulders.

A 1970s Gibson-branded hardshell case is included.
