Up for sale, a 1966 Fender Deluxe 8 console steel in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and telescoping legs. This Deluxe features a Blonde nitro lacquer finish over an ash body, retaining the original pair of gray bobbin pickups.
This console steel has an extremely sweet, articulate, and dynamic sound. The trebles have quintessential Fender sparkle and percussive cut, with the midrange detail and note attack inherent in ash as a tonewood, and the Pickup Blend wheel allows for a smooth gradient between the two pickups. This Deluxe 8 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with a fresh set of 15-54 strings.
