Up for sale, a 1966 Fender Bandmaster Black Panel era 2x12 speaker cabinet loaded with a pair of vintage Fender-labeled speakers. With both the Bassman and Bandmaster sharing the same speaker cabinet dimensions in this era, this cab is ideal for both, although the piggyback inserts are spaced at 25" for a Bandmaster head. The cabinet is rated for 4 ohms and can easily handle 60 all-tube watts.The cabinet has its original 1966 Fender factory date stamp on the center divider, and the cab is loaded with a pair of vintage (circa mid-1970s) heavy duty ceramic magnet speakers with original, near mint foil Fender stickers on the magnets. These speakers have excellent wattage handling and plenty of power for pristine cleans and rich drive.The cabinet features original smooth black tolex and notably darkened silver sparkle grillcloth, complete with the original raised "Fender" badge. Hardware includes original nickel corners, handle caps, knurled piggyback inserts and pair of chrome-plated titl-back legs. The cabinet is structurally sound, with visible wear on the enclosure edges.
